Holiday schedule

AMC Networks will observe the following holidays* in 2024 along with one Annual Floating Holiday:

    • New Year’s Day: Monday, January 1
    • Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Monday, January 15
    • Presidents’ Day: Monday, February 19
    • Memorial Day: Monday, May 27
    • Juneteenth: Wednesday, June 19
    • Independence Day: Thursday, July 4
    • Day after Independence Day: Friday, July 5
    • Labor Day: Monday, September 2
    • Veterans Day: Friday, November 11
    • Thanksgiving Day: Thursday, November 28
    • Day after Thanksgiving: Friday, November 29
    • Christmas: Monday, December 25
    • Day before New Year’s Eve: Monday, December 30
    • New Year’s Eve: Tuesday, December 31

    *The holiday schedule may not apply to employees who work a non-traditional work week. If you work a non-traditional work week, your business head will designate holidays based on work schedules and business needs.

    Early closures

    AMC Networks will close by 1 p.m. in each time zone on the following days:

    • Friday before Memorial Day: Friday, May 26
    • Friday before Labor Day: Friday, August 30
    • Day before Thanksgiving Day: Wednesday, November 27
    • Friday before Christmas: Friday, December 2o
    • Friday before New Year’s Eve: Friday, December 27

    Volunteer time

    Each year, AMCN employees receive seven hours of paid time to volunteer.
